Costalegre — the "Coast of Joy" — stretches 200 miles along Jalisco's Pacific shore between Puerto Vallarta and Manzanillo. In 1990, the state officially designated it the Costalegre Ecological Tourism Corridor, but the ultra-wealthy had already been building here for decades.
